We are on the bank of the rivers Cain and Vyrnwy, perfectly situated for country walks, cycling, fishing, golf, mountain biking and touring in this beautiful and quiet part of Montgomeryshire, (now part of Powys).
Situated on the border between Shropshire and Wales with Oswestry and Welshpool are only a few miles away and a little further lie the historic towns of Shrewsbury and Chester.
This unspoilt area is full of antiquities including Offa’s Dyke and the Llanymynych Limeworks Heritage Project are only a couple of miles away. The ancient hillforts of Llanymynech and Oswestry, glorious castles and gardens at Powis and Chirk at Welshpool, Erddig, and the renowned Welsh lakes of Vyrnwy and Bala are only a bike or car journey away.
